Dengan adanya wacana akan diberlakukannya
kembali Garis-garis Besar Haluan Negara (GBHN) oleh Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat Republik Indonesia (MPR -RI) tidak dipandang sebelah mata. Pasalnya,
Anggota Badan Kajian MPR -RI asal Sukabumi, Heri Gunawan menggelar langsung pertemuan bersama ratusan jurnalis, hari ini Rabu (11/03/20).

Kegiatan yang diinisiasi oleh salah satu Media Online Sukabumi ini secara resmi mengundang para jurnalis se Kota dan Kabupaten Sukabumi, dipusatkan di Gedung Balai Buntar, Hotel Raflesia, Jalan Raya Cikukulu No.1510, Cisande, Kecamatan Cicantayan.

“Intinya, ingin menyerap aspirasi masyarakat dan mengkaji sistem ketatanegaraan UU 45, serta pelaksanaanya dalam pilar pembangunan melalui diskusi bersama para jurnalis,” ujar Hergun anggota MPR RI dari Fraksi Gerindra disela kegiatan.

Masih kata Hergun, kegiatan ini juga sebagai ajang langkah menampung aspirasi dan mengkaji diberlakukakannya kembali Garis-garis Besar Haluan Negara (GBHN). Sengaja, dirinya menggadakan segementasi bersama kalangan jurnalis ini agar dapat difahami kalangan luas.

“Intinya kita akan menampung aspirasi dari rekan-rekan media. Sebab, ketatanegaraan peran pers ini menjadi bagian dari pilar pembangunan,” terangnya.

Sementara itu, Panitia Kegiatan Falah Kurnia Robby mengaku, kegiatan penyerapan aspirasi Heri Guanawan ini gagas oleh Media Kami guna menyamakan persepsi antara kalangan jurnalis dengan legislatif. Dalam hal ini anggota MPR RI yang tengah mengkaji wacan diberlakukannya kembali GBHN.

“Sedikitnya 100 orang jurnalis baik dari tiga organisasi media maupun non organisasi media terlibat dalam kegiatan ini. Mereka difasilitasi untuk menyampaikan langsung pemikiran maupun keresahan akan wacana tersebut yang tidak menutup kemungkinan akan berdampak langsung pada profesi jurnalis,” pungkasnya.
